Selling guide

Selling activewear second-hand

Activewear is bought on brand, size and honesty about wear, in that order. Because the fabrics are technical, buyers care about things that do not apply anywhere else: whether the fabric has gone sheer, whether the waistband still holds, whether it has been washed with fabric softener.

Photograph it

Stretch the fabric gently over your hand and photograph it against the light, so the buyer can see for themselves that it is not sheer.

What buyers check

  • Whether leggings have gone see-through at the back
  • Waistband elasticity
  • Bobbling on the inner thigh

The common mistake

Not mentioning sheerness. It is the single most common reason activewear is returned.

Show it worn, from the photo you already have

Everything above assumes a flat photo is all you have. Wornfy takes that photo and shows the garment on a person, so a buyer can see how it falls — and the free refresher rewrites your image files before you re-list.
