Selling guide
Selling trainers second-hand
Trainers are bought by people who already know exactly what they want, which makes this category unusual: the buyer is searching for a model name, not browsing. Your title does most of the work and your photos only have to confirm condition honestly.
Photograph it
Photograph the soles. Sole wear is the first thing an experienced buyer asks for and sending it unprompted saves a message.
What buyers check
- The exact model name and colourway
- Sole and heel wear, shown rather than described
- Whether the original box is included
The common mistake
Hiding creasing in the toe box. It is expected on used trainers and disclosing it builds trust rather than losing the sale.
