Selling guide
Selling hoodies second-hand
Hoodies move fast and cheaply, which means the winning listing is the one that took the least effort to trust. Buyers are mostly checking that the print has not cracked and that it has not been washed to a smaller size.
Photograph it
Photograph any print flat and straight on. A print shot at an angle looks worn even when it is perfect.
What buyers check
- Print condition, cracking and peeling
- Whether the cuffs and hem have lost their elasticity
- Actual chest width, since oversized fits vary hugely
The common mistake
Selling a bobbled hoodie without saying so. It is cheap to disclose and expensive to argue about.
