Selling guide

Selling trousers second-hand

Trousers other than jeans are a quieter category with less competition, which makes titles matter. A buyer searching for tailored, wide leg or cargo is describing a shape, so the shape belongs in the first three words of your title.

Photograph it

Shoot them flat with the waistband at the top of the frame and the full leg visible, so the leg shape reads at thumbnail size.

What buyers check

  • Leg shape — wide, straight, tapered or cargo
  • Rise and inside leg in centimetres
  • Fabric, because a tailored wool trouser and a polyester one are different products

The common mistake

A title that says only the brand and size. Nobody searches that way for trousers.

Show it worn, from the photo you already have

Everything above assumes a flat photo is all you have. Wornfy takes that photo and shows the garment on a person, so a buyer can see how it falls — and the free refresher rewrites your image files before you re-list.
