Selling guide

Selling blazers second-hand

Blazers are bought for a reason — an interview, an office, a wedding — which means the buyer is often in a hurry and has a date in mind. Listings that state the fit and the shoulder measurement clearly get answered first.

Photograph it

Button it and shoot straight on from chest height, so the lapel line stays straight instead of curving away from the lens.

What buyers check

  • Shoulder seam to shoulder seam, flat
  • Single or double breasted, and how many buttons
  • Whether the pockets are still stitched shut

The common mistake

Photographing from above. It shortens the blazer and bends the lapels, which reads as poor tailoring.

Show it worn, from the photo you already have

Everything above assumes a flat photo is all you have. Wornfy takes that photo and shows the garment on a person, so a buyer can see how it falls — and the free refresher rewrites your image files before you re-list.
