Selling guide

Selling bags second-hand

Bags are the category where buyers are most alert to fakes, which changes what a good listing looks like. Photographs of hardware, stitching and interior labels do more for a bag listing than any styled shot ever will.

Photograph it

Photograph the interior and the hardware close up, in daylight, without flash — flash flattens the grain that proves the leather.

What buyers check

  • Interior condition, especially the lining and any pen marks
  • Hardware wear on zips, feet and clasps
  • Serial numbers, date codes or authenticity cards where they exist

The common mistake

Only showing the outside. An unseen interior reads as something being hidden.

Show it worn, from the photo you already have

Everything above assumes a flat photo is all you have. Wornfy takes that photo and shows the garment on a person, so a buyer can see how it falls — and the free refresher rewrites your image files before you re-list.
